Employees decorated their trunks and handed out candy to families staying at the House in the company’s first partnership with the organization
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – October 30, 2026 – Families staying at Ronald McDonald House West Michigan enjoyed an evening of costumes, candy, and community on October 29, when Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing hosted a Trunk or Treat at the House.
After volunteering with some yard clean up at the House, Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing team members transformed the parking lot into a Halloween celebration. Employees decked out their trunks with everything from homemade Pac-Man displays to dinosaurs and bubble machines and handed out candy to more than 75 trunk-or-treaters. For families whose children are receiving medical care at nearby hospitals, the evening offered a cherished tradition and a rare moment of normalcy during an uncertain time.
“When families are at the House, some of the simplest moments can feel like the biggest. Giving a child the chance to put on a costume and collect candy is a cherished part of childhood, and Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing and their team made that possible for our families.” – Salina Bishop, President & CEO, Ronald McDonald House West Michigan
The event marked the first partnership between Aseptic Manufacturing and Ronald McDonald House West Michigan. 15 Aseptic employees volunteered their time to make the evening possible.
